History

The Practice was formed in 1972 By J.Norman McLean in Ayr and Walker A. Gibson joined and subsequently opened an office in Lanark. Several original clients are still on the current books and the firm has enjoyed a lot of repeat business. Although the practice has its ethics steeped in history, these still form the basis of the new way of thinking by Partners, John A Malcolm and Martin D. Schlechter.

"Investors in people" was obtained in 2000 and has formed support to strengthen our aims of:

Experience

A wealth of experience has been gained by staff over 30 years and more in Architecture and in excess of 25 years dealing with major house builders. A broad spectrum of work has been tackled having completed more than 1,800 jobs covering Housing, Leisure, Education, Healthcare & Industry.

A solid core of senior staff supervise younger members bringing experience from elsewhere. A continual training programme ensures that all our staff are more able to do their jobs to a higher standard, which in turn benefits our clients.
